Nurturing collective and individual leadership practices as guided by Growing Deep using awareness-based system leadership approaches emerged as a significant purpose for a prototype, developed at the recent awareness-based system leadership two-day immersion with principals, LESNW directors and Dr Richard Owens.
The group shared the work they have engaged with at their schools, developed personal mastery through exploring leadership archetypes, engaged in case clinics and re-examined time we spend as rescuer, mentor, coach or co-creator as well as levels of collaboration. Day 2 allowed for extended work on the development of individual prototypes related to school initiatives.
A strong desire emerged from the group to continue as a learning lab into 2019 and also to embed this approach into all aspects of leadership growth and development in LESNW.
