Recently 25 leaders from the LILLC – Primary group (including 5 Zoom attendees from WA, NT and locally) met at Redeemer Lutheran School, Nuriootpa for a full day of learning and networking.
With a newly formed approach based on the LESNW vision and strategic intentions, our group aims to share practice through the lens of Growing deep and a Systems Based Awareness approach.
While we will be meeting together as a LILLC – Early Learning, Primary, Secondary group in terms 2 & 3, this term we have met in our sub-groups.
Stuart Traeger led us through a spiritual growth session on maintaining a sense of Hope.
Mignon Weckert workshopped with us in a Learning Lab based on ‘Listening and Understanding and ‘Learning and Adapting – the role of mental models.’
Ready and challenged, we immersed ourselves in a case study presented by the Redeemer leadership team on their journey towards ‘Village Learning at Redeemer’.
The case studies aim to focus us on the challenge to lead change and innovation in our schools, building strategies and models to equip us in our own contexts. We value the opportunity to share, encourage and grow one another through a school case study and thank the Redeemer leadership team for sharing in an authentic and thought-provoking way.
We look forward to learning from the Cornerstone case study in term 2, as together we meet with at Cornerstone College, Mt Barker.
