Unleashing Collective Creativity for Innovation and Improvement in Schools
Over the past 18 months the LESNW secretariat team has been offering Awareness Based System Leadership professional learning opportunities with different groups of leaders. At the principals and directors meeting last week, David Wilksch reflected on the impact of this on the emerging future for the Good Shepherd Para Vista community. Other leaders have similar stories of how this approach is informing and shaping their personal growth as a leader but also how it is providing the lens through which to objectively view the ‘current reality’ and then scope the ‘preferred future’ for their communities.
In 2019 LESNW will be facilitating ‘Leadership for the Emerging Future’ (Learning Lab 2). This will provide an opportunity for leaders who did not participate in the first Awareness Based System Leadership Learning Lab conducted over the past 15 months. If you would like to know more about this please contact John or Mignon, or speak to a Learning Lab 1 participant. The link below provides a brief rationale, the purpose and schedule for the ‘Leadership for the Emerging Future’ (Learning Lab 2). We look forward in anticipation to a new group of leaders engaging in this leadership development opportunity next year.
