Three learning communities that have been an integral part of the LESNW will be closing at the end of this school year. We give thanks to the many generations of families that have supported Spring Head Lutheran School over 147 years. The school opened in 1856 and operated until 1917 when it was closed by the government (same for other Lutheran schools); it reopened in 1931. We acknowledge and thanks staff, past and present, for their dedication and commitment to provide Christian education to the students. We also recognise the pivotal role that Trinity Lutheran Church Spring Head has played in supporting Christian education at the school. The Spring Head Lutheran Church and School community are holding a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 10 December to commemorate the school. (Invitation below.)
We also uphold the staff and families connected to both Ocean Forest Lutheran College and Living Waters, Halls Head campus as they come to the final weeks before their respective closures. Again, the commitment of the founders of each of these schools are commended for their passion and desire to provide Christian education for families respectively within the Bunbury and Mandurah/Halls Head regions. We thank and acknowledge staff, past and present, of both schools for their faithful and dedicated service.
