In November 2017, an interested group of principals came together to explore the ‘preferred future’ for LESNW, using systems thinking and awareness-based practices. As a result of this collaboration the Leadership Labs emerged. Over the past 4 years, they have developed and flourished as more and more leaders have engaged in this way of being and thinking which connects directly to Growing deep.
With the development and implementation of the LESNW 2021-2023 Strategic Intentions and Goals it is a perfect time to come together again collectively, and to explore “where to now?” through the phases of the Appreciative Inquiry process which are Discover, Dream, Design and Destiny.
On Monday 25th October, 23 principals and leaders engaged in the AI process facilitated by Dr Richard Owens. The data and insights gathered from this group of leaders along with feedback and suggestions from all current labs will be synthesized, identifying priorities and strategies to ‘equip leaders for the emerging future’.
We look forward to sharing the outcomes and suggested priorities and actions with leaders in Lutheran learning communities.
