Leaders at ELC participated in practices including guided meditation, dialogue walk, circle work and used systems thinking to delve deeper into leadership challenges, generating energy and creativity both individually and collectively.
Some of the areas which emerged included: learner voice for the ‘house’ system, developing coherence in the Christian studies curriculum, authentic ways of supporting inclusivity to learning mathematics, consistency in the teaching and learning of literacy, broadening goals for year 12 outcomes beyond ATAR, interdisciplinarity and more!
It will be exciting to see the prototypes developed and impact of action taken. This is another powerful example of the focus of LESNW, to foster effective collaboration for innovation and improvement as guided by Growing deep.
