Leaders in Innovation Lab 2.0 gathered face to face and online to continue to develop their thinking and action around their research question. The session started with the principal from Woodleigh School David Baker leading the group to reflect on the significant role mindfulness plays in our role as leaders.
The group then developed their individual and collective thinking in relation to their research project, how to gather wider inspiration as part of the Discovery Phase of design thinking and then ideas around the Interpretation Phase.
The group was introduced to the Mandala for Systems Change which represents four interconnected domains and holds them in a dynamic creative tension. It can be used to guide projects and help guide reflection on roles and purpose.
As always time was spent throughout the Lab reflecting on our learning and impact of our projects on work goals and processes and most importantly the connection to student learning.
