Senior leaders in Lutheran primary schools joined together last Thursday at Good Shepherd Para Vista for the first time in 2018. The meeting began with a tour of the new learning spaces at Good Shepherd which were only recently opened.
Discussion was had around the upcoming Early Career teachers day and the success of the Student Leadership day that was recently held at Redeemer Lutheran School. In 2017 senior leaders decided to split the Student Leadership day into northern and southern regions. Over 65 students attended the northern day across 10 Lutheran primary schools. Our Saviour Lutheran School will host the southern leadership day on March 21st.
There was also much discussion around how we as a group can foster cross school collaboration and become involved with outside agencies and research projects to assist with new initiatives. A small working party was established at the end of the meeting to revisit our purpose as a group and we look forward to refining this at our next meeting on Thursday 7th June at Encounter Lutheran School.
