One of the positive developments which has emerged in the past weeks are the Forums for leaders. Originally, they were established for leaders to share their strategies for facilitating continuous learning. They are now evolving into sharing new learning. This is not so much about ‘How do we return to what we are doing?” rather “What do we want to build on and do differently for the benefit of learners and the learning community?”
We are hearing fabulous ideas of new ways of timetabling learning, more agile ways of engaging parents, and the wider community, greater student responsibility for learning, new ways of thinking about school performances, creative ways to collaborate to name a few.
We look forward to future Forums, co-lead by learning community leaders. If your school community is exploring new or enhanced ways of engaging in ‘the work’ please contact email@example.com or Andrew.firstname.lastname@example.org or share your thinking on the Teams site.
