Leaders who attended the workshop day on 8 June were engaged and energised as they worked to identify key projects. We appreciate the assistance from Kim Powell (LEVNT) and Derek Bartels (LEQ) on this day.
Following the three 2-hour design thinking Zoom sessions with Curriculum and Christian Studies Leaders in LESNW, four common themes emerged from the priorities of learning communities. These themes were shared at the Christian Studies Leaders session on Tuesday 8 June, where participants had opportunity to re-group and sort the ideas, as shown in this photo:
The resulting possible projects identified are posted in the photo shown:
After a voting process, the 4 actionable projects chosen by the group were play, self-esteem, resourcing, and unpacking the CSCF. The remainder of the workshop day involved clarifying and defining these projects, investigating similar scenarios experienced by other systems and sectors, prototyping ideas, and developing an action plan.
If you were unable to participate at this day in term 2, please join one of two ‘catch-ups’ to hear a fuller version of the outcomes and projects following the Zoom design thinking sessions and the CSL workshop on 8 June. Invites for the 1-hour catch-up will be sent via Teams for:
Wednesday 4 August 3.30 – 4.30 pm or
Thursday 5 August 9 – 10 am.
