Last week Secondary Leaders met for their final meeting for 2020 at Faith Lutheran College, Tanunda. The group has undergone a significant shift in focus over the past two years, utilising the Growing deep framework to frame our professional learning. The focus for our morning sessions was the “Focusing on Outcomes” – continuing to collaboratively reimagine a collective vision for LESNW leadership. LESNW Strategic Intentions were provided as a framework for the development of this vision and these goals were unpacked and ideations shared about the exciting possibilities ahead. Faith also showcased their agile learning spaces, and their “Find your Spark” program, which harnesses student and teacher interest across the Middle Years.
Collaboration with the Primary Leaders will continue as we develop this vision for leadership in Lutheran schools and we have been delighted to be Co-Chairs of the Secondary Leaders Group (2019-2020) and welcome Shane Schoff and Peter Pearse to this role for 2021-2022. It is our prayer that we continue to seek new ways of learning together and deepening what a Lutheran way of living is in the contemporary learning space.
