In recent days and the coming weeks there is going to be an easing of social restrictions, the newspapers are telling us that we now have ‘more’ freedom.
The COVID-19 lockdown for some in our learning communities and their families has been extremely difficult, the loss of jobs, financial pressures, illness, and restrictions around connecting with loved ones.
And now as we transition to more freedom this is also being met with a mix of emotions, excited about the possibilities while also anxious about the uncertain path forward, and the challenges we may face.
As we navigate our way “back to normal” we can be comforted in knowing that true freedom comes from knowing and trusting in Jesus.
So as we look forward with anticipation to experiencing more freedom, remember that it is our relationship with Jesus that will allow us to experience true freedom.
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” (John 8:36 NLT)
